Bar downstairs was a great plus and the showers on my floor were very nice. Good location.
Not always the most social atmosphere in the common room.

Nice hostel, everything you need there (WIFI, Hairdryer etc.). I liked it. Great located in the heart of Toronto.

Our room was overbooked, but it was quite late, and we were tired after getting back from a concert, so we didn't want to bother anyone, and just shared a bed. (A six bed room, I paid for three beds, and there was already four guys asleep when we arrived back at the hostel)

I had to wait a short while while the room was being prepared an dthe staff upgraded my room from 8 bed dorm to a three bed dorm. I relly liked the lounge with three couches a internet / pc bar along the window and a pool table. A chalk board with drawings of local tourist attractions and a tile art image of the city contributed to the friendly and hospitable atmosphere. The dining room in the basement is called the cavern and has a nice atmosphere for dining or having a brew. Easy walking distance to Toronto's Business, Entertainment and nightlife districts

Friendly staff, upgrade to a better room because someone was mistakenly sleeping in my bed, great location - super central.
No lockers in the rooms, not super clean. And heads up: the prices you book on Booked.net are the international hostel member prices, if you don't have the membership card, you will have to pay more (or get the card).

Location
One of the receptionists was rude and seemed upset at being at work early am . She may have been the night audit person.

x Clean x Good for the price x Free WiFi (they had great deals on tourist attractions for HI Members)
x extra fee if you are not a member (was like 4$/night for me) x one night it was very cold in the room Remember to bring your own lock for your locker, they are quite expensive to buy.
